What is a
"Prototype Pop Up"
Experience?

Great Things Start Small

The Wonder Station you’ll experience this September is a Pop Up Prototype—and here’s what that means:

  • Pop Up: A pop up is a temporary exhibit. Ours will only be open for a short time—September 12–14th—before it disappears. This is your chance to be part of something unique and fleeting.

  • Prototype: A prototype is the very first usable version of an idea. Your family will be able to explore, play, and interact with our exhibits, but keep in mind—it’s not the finished product. Some things may not work perfectly, and that’s part of the process!

Our goal with this Pop Up Prototype is to test a big idea in the real world. By visiting, filling out surveys, and sharing your honest feedback, you help us discover whether the Wonder Station could grow into a permanent children’s museum in Westminster, Maryland.

This stage is about learning, dreaming, and refining. After the prototype, our next step is to meet with investors who can help fund a fully built-out museum—complete with exhibits, staff, and a long-term home.

“The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”  - Steve Jobs

The Wonder Station is an innovation like no other—this idea has never been tested before. We’re excited to dream the future with you, and together imagine what a place of fun, faith, and wonder could become.
